DRAFT MINUTES OF LCT BOARD MEETING

1. MINTUES OF LAST BOARD MEETING

The minutes of the Board meeting of 22^nd August were proposed by PM and seconded by JR.

2. MATTERS ARISING

CS has been informed by the Garve and District Development Company that they currently do not require provisional agreement to funding for the GDCore project as they are unable to obtain the original external grant funding.            

3. FINANCIAL UPDATE

3.1 Financial report

All directors had received the financial report prior to the meeting.  The report was approved by all directors. A summary of the report is below.  The figures are from 31 August 2023

4. GRANT APPLICATIONS

4.1  MEMBER COMMENT ON URN 31-Emergency Remedial work Garve Hall

         LCT has received comments from a member of the community regarding the emergency remedial work for which the grant was approved in April 2019 and the work subsequently undertaken.  CS has contacted the Garve Hall Trustees who have confirmed that the equipment that was purchased as part of this grant, will be replaced during the current refurbishment.  CS has also provided information to the member regarding the process that LCT undertakes as part of the grant decision making process.

4.2   UPDATE ON GARVE HALL REFURBISHMENT – URN 66

         CS is attending the monthly site meetings regarding the Garve Hall refurbishment.  As of the last site meeting the project was on time and on budget.

5.0   AGM

         The AGM will be held via Zoom on Monday 30^th October 2023.  UM and PM will stand down as directors but will be standing for reappointment.

6.0  AOCB

6.1   Kirkan windfarm

         As the windfarm is now at the construction stage CS will contact the developer for Kirkan for an update regarding community benefit.
