Membership

Any resident within the Garve and District Community area over the age of 16 is entitled to be a Member of the Lochluichart Community Trust.

If you are not a Member and wish to join, you are invited to complete the form below and send it to the secretary (the address is at the bottom of the form).

Director Application form

LCT is managed by a Board of 7 Member Directors .  Each year 2 new member directors, who must be resident in the Garve & District Council area and members of LCT, are appointed to the Board at the AGM.

Director Responsibilities

  • Attendance at Board Meetings and AGM (approximately 10 meetings per year)
  • Ensure correct management of monies within the fund
  • Review and award of grant applications, ensuring compliance to the Articles of Association and the Community Benefit Agreement
  • Review of operational procedures and policies as appropriate
  • Negotiation of relationship with potential new funders
  • Directors generally serve a 3 year term

Fund Application

The LCT currently invites applications for project funding four times per year – the deadlines for submissions for 31 December 2018 and then each following year will be 28 February, 31 May, 31 August and 30 November, with the Board considering the applications in the following month.  If the directors of LCT consider it appropriate, they may increase the frequency and / or the deadlines for the submission of applications.

Project Feedback

LCT requires successful applicants to provide feedback, 6 months after their award.  The feedback provides LCT and its members on details on how the project has progressed and how the funds have been spent.

For successful applicants the project feedback form is on the link below.  The form should be returned to the LCT Company Secretary, preferably by email, or by post if email is not possible.
